Whenever his mother put him down, Wei Wuxian was always there to pick him up and reassure him. Jiang Cheng had the audacity to act like, and think that Wei Wuxian had it better then him, when his mother literally only berated him, speaking shit about him and whipped him all the time. Jiang Cheng acted like the abuse Wei Wuxian faced did not happen, and had the disgusting audacity to resent Wei Wuxian because he was more skilled then him? Train more instead of wasting your time hating someone who has only ever treated you well. Wei Wuxian never once resented Jiang Cheng for his mother’s actions towards him. Jiang Cheng literally gave him an ultimatum saying basically: “Abandon your beliefs, or ill abandon you”. Jiang Cheng expected Wei Wuxian to be his emotional pill;ow for the rest of his life, even if it meant he would be miserable, because he never considered of even cared about Wei Wuxian’s feelings. It was always just about his own feelings, he was so selfish. If the circumstances were different, Wei Wuxian would have given up his happiness and spent the rest of his life as Jiang Cheng’s subordinate/emotional pillow. I’m glad that Wei ying. Left with Lan Zhan, and did not look back. Jiang Cheng will have to live with his mistakes knowing that he abandoned the one person who was always there for him, and that Wei ying found someone that’s actually truly loved him, showing Jiang Cheng that he never truly loved Wei ying and because of all that he hurt him and lost him forever.
